Upon your arrival at Luxor airport or station, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your Nile Cruise on a private A/C van. You will board the cruise before noon and have some time to settle in. In the afternoon, your sightseeing tour will start on the East bank of Luxor. You will visit the impressive Karnak Temples Complex, which is the largest structure ever built in the history of mankind. The principal building is dedicated to the god Amun Ra and was considered the house of god on earth. The complex has been in construction for over 2,000 years, and the earlier structures date back to the Middle Kingdom, while some references refer to earlier buildings as old as the 3rd dynasty.
Next, you will proceed to the Temple of Luxor, which was built by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty and completed by the famous king Ramses II. The temple is located in the heart of ancient Thebes and, like Karnak, was dedicated to the main/chief god Amun Re. After the tour, you will be transferred back to the cruise for some rest and refreshment. In the evening, the staff will entertain you with an Egyptian folkloric show, and dinner will be served on board. You will spend the night in Luxor.
Note: If your arrival time in Luxor is early, we will start the tour directly upon your arrival as the cruise check-in time is at noon, and we don't want our guests to waste their time waiting in the lobby for check-in.
